Fulham Area Guide

Fulham is one of the most popular residential enclaves and the properties are some of London's most exclusive.

Bordered by Chelsea to the east and Putney across the River Thames, Fulham is one of the most popular residential enclaves and the properties are some of London’s most exclusive. Fulham is a well-established and thriving area, but has kept its village feel attracting families and young professionals. Busy with shops, bars, boutiques and restaurants, Fulham is only a short tube journey to Central London.

For primary education, there is a good choice including All Saints Primary, Melcombe Primary, Ecole Marie d’Orliac (a French primary school) and Fulham Primary.
For secondary education, Lady Margaret is one of the most sought-after state schools in London, there’s also the Fulham College Boys’ School and The Hurlingham Academy. For private education, parents can choose between Fulham Prep School, Thomas's School, Hurlingham School and the very well-known Roman Catholic London Oratory School.
French families favour L'Ecole des Petits, for pupils aged between 3 and 6.
Transport Links

Fulham Broadway, Parsons Green and Putney Bridge are all on the District Line, with easy access to Wimbledon and Central London. The recently added London Overground line conveniently links Imperial Wharf with Clapham Junction.

There are many local bus routes which head into Central London, Clapham Junction, South Kensington and Sloane Square.

Enjoying Fulham

Well located, Fulham is close to Sloane Square and Knightsbridge. With traditional architecture and riverside parks there is a relaxed feel to the area. Parsons Green and Eel Brook Common are particularly sought after. Fulham was recently voted the UK’s most desirable area for young professionals. Affluent families are drawn here and, because of the nearby Lycée, there is a thriving French community.

One of Fulham’s main attractions is the sheer range of shops and restaurants. From Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre to street and farmers’ markets, designer boutiques and handmade furniture stores, this London hotspot offers a huge variety.
